Scattered rain Saturday, then much cooler

A few rounds of rain will affect parts of Alabama today - the rain will be scattered and mainly light, but we can’t rule out a few downpours in spots. Then, noticeably cooler air will move in behind the front. We’ll tumble into the mid 40s by sunrise Sunday. Sunshine will warm us only into the 60s on Sunday, and we’ll drop into the lower 40s Sunday night into Monday morning. New model guidance is trending colder, and it’s not impossible that some of our northern counties end up in the upper 30s early Monday.
