MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Keep the raincoat nearby... rain returns for the end of the workweek.
Clouds will continue to build in advance of our next system. A few showers are possible tomorrow, but the real rain event arrives overnight. Showers and downpours will be widespread Thursday night into early Friday. By Friday afternoon, however, the showers will become much more scattered in nature. This means that there’s no need to cancel any Friday evening plans, but it won’t hurt to bring a poncho, just in case.
No severe weather is expected with this system. Only isolated showers are left over by Saturday, and those will likely linger through only the first half of the day.
