First Alert: Mostly dry workweek ahead

Besides a few showers possible Tuesday, we’ll stay on the drier side through the workweek

Dry Monday, a few sprinkles possible Tuesday

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - If you’ve been enjoying the sunshine, rejoice! More dry days are in our future.

After another sunny and comfortable day, we’ll cool down tonight to the mid 40s. We’ll stay dry tonight through Monday, but a frontal boundary will move through Tuesday.

The front won’t elevate our rain chances much. A few sprinkles are possible across central and south Alabama, but overall more of us will stay dry. The front will make our skies cloudier Tuesday, and temperatures will be noticeably cooler Wednesday after the front passes.

Sunny skies return Wednesday, and so do 50 degree temperatures. Thursday will be particularly cold. A morning in the low 30s and an afternoon high only near 50 degrees means temperatures will stay in the 30s and 40s almost the entire day.

Our next rain maker looks to arrive by the weekend.
