The thin cirrus clouds we are seeing right now will continue to gradually build during the evening hours ahead of an approaching cold front. I know what you are thinking... more rain. While a few showers are not out of the question, this boundary looks generally weak. Isolated activity is possible as early as tomorrow morning, but there isn’t much moisture in our atmosphere to support major rain chances (thank goodness!).
The bigger headline will be the temperatures changes behind the front, taking highs from the upper 60s on Tuesday into the lower 50s by Wednesday... back to our harsh winter reality. That cooler air lingers for the rest of the week and into the weekend when a more substantial round of rain becomes likely.
