Firearms stolen in vehicle break-in, suspects sought

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, AL (WSFA) - The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is looking for vehicle break-in suspects who stole firearms and musical equipment.

According to Central Alabama Crimestoppers, the vehicle break-in happened in the 100 block of Smothers Road on Dec. 21. Surveillance photos show what investigators believe to be a 2005 or newer Mercury Grand Marquis, silver, with a dent in the right front fender on the passenger side and a large dent in the driver’s door.

Law enforcement believes the same vehicle was spotted on video surveillance in the 300 block of 7th Street in Clanton on Dec. 28, in connection with an unlawful breaking and entering and theft of property offence.
