Reports: Chip Lindsey to be named Troy head coach
Chip Lindsey is currently Kansas' offensive coordinator after serving as the offensive coordinator for the Auburn Tigers for two years.

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Less than a week after losing head coach Neal Brown to West Virginia, it seems as if the Troy Trojans have found his replacement.

Multiple reports are saying that current Kansas offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey has been selected as the man to take over the Trojans program. Lindsey has only been on the job at Kansas for a month after he left Auburn to become the Jayhawks' offensive coordinator under new head coach Les Miles. Lindsey served as the offensive coordinator for the Tigers the previous two years.

This is not Lindsey’s first stop in Trojan territory. Lindsey served as quarterbacks coach during the 2010 season under then head coach Larry Blakeney.

No official word from Troy at this time on the hire.
