Dry for now...

It was a quiet and chilly Martin Luther King Jr. holiday with abundant sunshine and highs in the upper 40s and low 50s. Now, temperatures are falling into the low 30s for our overnight hours.

The forecast will stay dry, but not for long; by Tuesday afternoon a few light showers could pop up on radar in far west/south Alabama, with all signs pointing to more pre-frontal showers developing Tuesday evening ahead of our next system. It will bring a good helping of rain Tuesday night, Wednesday and Wednesday night, but severe weather is not anticipated.
