MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - He may be in the pros now, but Shaun Dion Hamilton hasn’t forgotten where he came from. The current NFL linebacker for the Washington Redskins returned to his old elementary school of Forest Avenue and hung out with some of the current students.

Hamilton attended Forest Avenue as a fifth-grader back in 2007 long before he was making plays as a linebacker at the University of Alabama. Hamilton hung out with kids, signing autographs and answering questions for some who might have the same dream as he did - to play in the NFL.
