Prattville-Autauga shelter seeking donations after burglary

AUTAUGA COUNTY, AL (WSFA) - The Prattville-Autauga Humane Society is asking the public for help donating dog food after a weekend burglary that results in the theft of most of the animals’ food.

The burglary happened early Sunday morning, according to shelter officials. The suspect/s broke into the storage shed where food is kept, but did not enter the shelter building where animals are kept.

Officials said they have enough food to last through Monday, possibly Tuesday, but need more supplies.
