FLORENCE, Ala. (AP) - The Bowden coaching clan will gather in north Alabama in support of Terry Bowden's new school.
Terry, Bobby, Tommy and Jeff will host a variety of functions Tuesday at the University of North Alabama in Florence. That's where Terry is now head coach and Jeff is his associate head coach.
They convene amid an eventful backdrop. Terry and Jeff are returning from coaching hiatuses. Patriarch Bobby is potentially faced with the biggest loss of his career: The NCAA vacating 14 Florida State victories that would push him well back of Joe Paterno in the race to become college football's winningest coach.
Bobby & Sons will take a break from the family business to host a prayer breakfast, receptions and separate seminars for teenagers and adults.
The money raised will go to North Alabama's athletic program.
