HOOVER, Ala. (AP) - Defending national champion Florida, Tim Tebow and the three new coaches will be hot topics at Southeastern Conference football media days.
The three-day event kicks off Wednesday at the Wynfrey Hotel in Hoover, Ala.
New Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen will make his media days debut on Day 1.
The main event comes Thursday with powers Florida, Alabama and Georgia taking the stage with a Mississippi team facing unusually high expectations. Star quarterbacks Tebow of the Gators and Jevan Snead of the Rebels also appear.
New coaches Gene Chizik of Auburn and Tennessee's outspoken Lane Kiffin take the podium on Friday.
The SEC has captured the last three football national titles and also managed to complete new TV deals with CBS and ESPN last year in a tough economy.
WSFA 12 Sports Director Jeff Shearer will be in Birmingham for the event and will have coverage Wednesday through Friday on WSFA 12 News at 6:00 and 10:00.
