Hannah Lane is WSFA 12 News' Wiregrass news reporter. She first came to us as an intern in January 2009 and joined the team as a producer in August 2009. She loves working at WSFA and is eager to serve the viewers and the Montgomery community.

Hannah graduated Magna Cum Laude from Huntingdon College in 2009 where she majored in Communications Studies with a minor in Psychology.  It wasn't all studies for Hannah at HC, she was captain of the dance team, Huntingdon host, member of Chi Omega, ODK President, and President of the Senior Class.

Hannah has had an interest in television ever since she was a child. A passion was sparked when she became anchor for her high school broadcast show, 'The Spill'. She has been hooked ever since! She loves the energy in the newsroom and enjoys "being in the know," a trait that comes with working in news.

Hannah is originally from the Smokey Mountains area of Tennessee. In her spare time she enjoys dancing, reading, hanging out with friends, and (embracing her Alabama side) loves football! And if you are curious, she is not a UT fan. It's the Hawks and Eagles she loves. Hawk ‘Em and Waaaaaaarrrrr Eagle!
