MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Fort Deposit's only full service grocery store is closing in a few weeks due to the rough economy.
The store manager of Food Giant says she blames the closing to a stiff drop in sales over the past year, as well as a rash amount of break-ins at the store.
However, there is good news for the store and employees.
It is being re-opened by another businessman.
Food Giant will close October 3rd and re-open after the new owner takes a store inventory and interviews former employees.
