3 people arrested for Tallapoosa Co. arson

Tallapoosa County, AL (WSFA) - A four year investigation nets three arson arrests. A New Site man is charged with intentionally setting fire to his business.

State fire investigators tell WSFA 12 News Charles Parrott, James Wood, and Teresa Ellenbolt are all charged with arson in the 2005 fire of Parrott's water bottling plant. The fire caused over a million dollar in damages to the plant, a nearby mobile home, equipment and vehicles.

Investigators expect more charges, and urge anyone with information to call the arson hotline at 1-800-654-0775.
