ARDMORE, AL (WSFA) - A baby kidnapped in Tennessee is found in Alabama.

9 day old baby Yair Anthony Carillo, missing since Tuesday, was found in Ardmore, Alabama late Friday night.

The baby's mother, Maria Gurrolla, says Tammy Renee Silas came to her house and claimed to be an immigration officer.

Once inside the home, Silas stabbed Gurolla eight times.

When Gurolla ran to get help, Silas took the newborn baby to her Ardmore home.

The boy was briefly reunited with his mother Saturday, but then taken into state custody, along with his three siblings for what authorities are calling safety reasons.

39 year old Tammy Renee Silas was arrested without incident.

She is being held at a jail in Morgan County.
