
Alabama's defense was dominating, limiting Mississippi to just 19 yards of total offense in the first half and 193 on the day. Four different UA defenders grabbed interceptions including Kareem Jackson's 79-yard interception return, the 10th longest in school history. The Crimson Tide offense rolled up 355 yards of total offense led by 190 yards by sophomore running back Mark Ingram who scored the Tide's lone touchdown on the day. Alabama returns to Tuscaloosa next weekend to take on South Carolina for Homecoming.
