(NBC) - They're the dance team that got actors Jamie Foxx and Eva Longoria's attention and they're also great at firing up the arena.
They're not the dancers in skimpy outfits, but the "Golden Oldies" who are just as popular at Miami Heat basketball games. Most are quick to call them the hippest senior citizens in South Florida.
"When you see Golden Oldies on the court, the first thing you see is their smiles," said dance instructor Janine Thompson.
The second thing you see - their booty shaking!
Maglyn Selix is trying out for the first time and is about to turn 83 years old. She's exactly what the golden oldies are looking for. In fact, they only have two requirements. You have to be at least 60 years-young and you have to have energy.
About 30 seniors jiggled for the judges.
