ABBEVILLE, AL (WSFA) -  Authorities arrest the person they believe responsible for robbing the Food Giant grocery store in Abbeville late Saturday night.

John Michael Klink is charged with felony burglary and failure to register as a felon.

Klink made his first appearance in court Wednesday morning.

Investigators say a crime stoppers tip and phone records lead them to Klink.

Investigators believe since august he may have been involved in a number of commercial burglaries in downtown Abbeville.

"My concern was that someone was going to get hurt, and I hope that this brings a resolution to it and I have heard several people that already feel a little but safer and getting back to the old Abbeville," says Abbeville Mayor Ryan Blalock.

Klink is being held in the Henry County Jail on bonds totaling $275,000.
