MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Alagasco representatives and Montgomery Public School officials planted trees at Dozier Elementary School Thursday to mark the start of Alagasco's new "Plant a Tree in 3 Clicks" campaign.
Dozier Elementary School students, Principal Cindy McKenzie, Montgomery Mayor Todd Strange and Superintendent Barbara Thompson were joined by several Alagasco represenatives to mark the occasion.
Through the "Plant a Tree in 3 Clicks" campaign, Alagasco seeks feedback from its customers about natural gas.
For every survey completed at Alagasco's Web site, the company will plant one tree, up to a maximum of 15,000 trees.
Alagasco will finish its "Plant a Tree in 3 Clicks" campaign to coincide with Alabama's Arbor Day, recognized annually during the last full week of February.
The survey is open to residents of Alabama. To participate, go to www.PlantATree.Alagasco.com
