MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A double shooting occurs in Montgomery County Sunday afternoon.

A man walked into a house and open fired, hitting a woman that was holding a baby.

Authorities say the gunman got into some type of a fight inside a packed house and started shooting.

The incident happened along Courtner Circle, off of Troy Highway.

Deputies say 30 year old Anthony McClain entered a home filled with kids, a man, and a young woman who witnesses say is McClain's estranged wife.

Authorities tell us McClain shot the man once in the shoulder and the woman in both shoulders as she was holding a baby.

We are told the baby is okay, but family members took her to the hospital just to be safe.

Shortly after the shooting, McClain turned himself in to officers at the police department in Troy.

He will be booked in Montgomery on multiple charges, which could inclde attempted murder.

This is not McClain's first run-in with the law.

A jury convicted him on one count of second degree domestic violence three years ago.
