MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The Montgomery Police Department is reaching out to the community in hopes of finding a domestic violence suspect.
Cedric Lewis is accused of throwing a remote control at his girlfriend, striking her in the eye. The object cut the woman and fractured the medial wall of her left eye.
Police say the incident is nothing new for Lewis, who is said the have "an extensive history" of violent outbursts toward the woman, none of which she's ever reported to authorities.
Lewis, whose last known address is 3116 Fredricksburg Drive, was last seen driving a burgundy 2003 Cadillac Escalade with 26" burgundy/chrome rims. His license plate wasn't immediately known.
