MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - 22,000 small businesses in Alabama will soon get a break on their Alabama Power Company bills.
Tuesday, the public service commission unanimously approved a rate adjustment cutting $25 a month off those commercial business accounts.
The change involves a fee small businesses pay each month for being connected to utility lines.
The new rate will go into affect January 1st.
