West Alabama rode a four-overtime win over North Alabama into the Division II playoffs.
The Tigers will visit Albany State next Saturday for a first-round game after earning their second playoff berth and first since 1975. They secured a spot with a 31-28, four-overtime victory over their rival on Saturday, West Alabama's first victory in Florence since 1987.
The 24-team field was announced Sunday.
North Alabama earned a first-round bye as the No. 1 seed in Super Regional 2 and makes its 15th consecutive playoff appearance. The Lions will host a second-round game against either Arkansas Tech or North Carolina, Pembroke.
