DOTHAN, AL (WSFA) – Dothan police are trying to identify a body found in a burning shed.
Firefighters discovered the body inside a shed behind a house on Roberta Street in downtown Dothan Tuesday morning.
“Immediately pulled lines for extinguishment and extinguished the fire and upon extinguishment found a victim inside the storage building, and this was deemed a fatal fire at the point,” says Capt. Chris Etheredge, of the Dothan Fire Department.
Fire marshals and police are trying to determine what caused the fire and how the person died.
