
TUSKEGEE, AL - The Tuskegee University Cooperative Extension Program is preparing for the 14th Annual Booker T. Washington Economic Summit, “Cultivating the Millennium Entrepreneur”.
The summit will be held November 18th – 20th 2009 at the Tuskegee University Kellogg Conference Center.
The Economic Summit will have concurrent sessions throughout the week in fields such as Minority Business Enterprises, Youth Entrepreneurship, and Alternative Financing for Small Businesses plus many more.
Organizers say a fairly new addition to the Economic Summit is the Entrepreneurship in Hip- Hop Workshop. This workshop gives students best practices and true life experiences from entertainment professionals. The topics of discussion will include Music Marketing, Publishing, The Role of the D.J., Women in Hip- Hop and more.
The Entrepreneurship in Hip HopWorkshop will be held Wed, Nov. 18 at 4:30-6:00pm.
