
Elmore County, AL (WSFA) - Despite the economy, Elmore County is adding on to the jail.
The sheriff wants to make more room for the in-take and administrative process of booking inmates. The new building will cost around $900-thousand dollars. Sheriff Bill Franklin says the new building should be finished by January.
