MONTGOMERY, AL (WBRC) - Governor Bob Riley has set dates for a special election in House District 40.
The seat was left vacant last week after the death of Representative Lea Fite.
The primary for qualified candidates will be held January 5th.
If needed, a runoff will be February 16th.
