PHENIX CITY, AL (WSFA) - Drugs, cars and cash is what Russell County authorities seized from a Phenix City home.
41 yr old Kelly Battle and his girlfriend, 22 yr old Gabriell Hollis, now face felony drug charges after a bust late last night at their home on Thornberry Circle.
Police took more than 24-thousand dollars in cash, four cars, a quarter pound of marijuana and ecstasy from their home.
Officials say Kelly Battle has been on their radar for quite some time. "Mr. Battle is not just a street dealer. He was obviously up the food chain and in my opinion, this is a very substantial hit for the team. These seizures that came out of this case are pretty substantial for this area," stated Russell Co. Chief Investigator Lt. Heath Taylor.
The investigation started after they received information that large amounts of marijuana were being moved out of the house.
