MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The C-Span Civic bus will come to Montgomery to remember this day in history when Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat to a white man. Today in 1955, Rosa Parks played an influential role in the Civil Rights movement and folks want to keep the event alive.
The C-Span Bus is a mobile education center that travels around the country visiting high schools, universities, and museums. It will visit Troy University's Rosa Parks Museum today.
Anyone is invited to visit the bus and learn more about the Civil Rights movement. It will be parked on Molton Street from noon until 2:30 p.m.
