(WSFA) - Some of the largest tire manufacturers, including Goodyear and Bridgestone, have raised their tire prices or are about to soon. According to Automotive Industry analysts, other manufacturers are expected to make the similar announcements.
Retailers could pay up to 15-percent more for tires, then pass the increase to consumers. Taxes on import, lower supplies, and higher demand for drivers buying winter tires are combining to jack up costs.
