Wetumpka, AL (WSFA) - Alabama State Troopers are investigating an early morning fatal accident in Elmore County.
The single-vehicle crash left 37-year-old Kenneth Tyrone Roberson, from Talladega, dead.
Roberson was killed when the 1997 Chevy Lumina he was driving left the roadway and struck a utility pole.
The crash happened on U.S. 231, south bound, at the 176 mile marker in Elmore County.
Roberson was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.
Elmore County Coroner Tim Ellison pronounced him dead at the scene.
