VERBENA, AL (WSFA) - Alabama State Troopers say a serious vehicle accident on Interstate 65 near the Autauga/Chilton County line is now clear and traffic is flowing as normal.

Details about the crash are very limited, but authorities say three people were injured in the wreck at mile marker 198.5. Two victims were flown by AirEVAC to UAB in Birmingham. One was transported by Care Ambulance to Baptist South in Montgomery.

Traffic was rerouted around the wreck, for a short time.

State Troopers are not currently releasing any other information at this time.
