MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - The gown that new first lady Dianne Bentley chose for the inaugural ball was designed by "Project Runway" contestant Anthony Williams, who is originally from Birmingham.
Williams appeared on the seventh season of the Bravo Network show.
A spokeswoman for Gov. and Mrs. Robert Bentley said the couple decided to serve food at the ball from throughout the state and picked the Lamb Family from Tuscaloosa to provide entertainment. The violin ensemble consists of siblings Karis, Kolsen, Kiemel and Caleb Lamb.
The Bentleys chose the convention center at Montgomery's Renaissance Hotel for the ball Monday night. The inaugural ball was in Birmingham four years ago because the convention center was being renovated.
