Evergreen - A shelter will open at the Evergreen Elementary School at 7:00 am Monday .

Franklin, Alabama - Franklin Church of God will open a shelter at 9:00 am Monday at 3420 County Road 61, Franklin Alabama.

LOWNDES COUNTY   

Residents of Lowndes County seeking shelter should the following shelters:

  • Bougahoma Baptist Church in Gordonsville, Alabama.  POC Mr. James Brooks at 563-7732 or Ms. Virginia Patterson 563-9640.
  • Snowhill Christian Church.  POC Rev. Dale Braxton 227-4752 or Ms. Gloria Williams 227-4885.

MONROE COUNTY

A shelter is open for Monroe County residents only at Monroe County High School, 212 Tiger Drive, Monroeville.

MONTGOMERY

- The Executive Inn on the Mobile Highway in Montgomery is offering a $25 /night rate for hurricane evacuees. Call 288-8110.

PRATTVILLE

-The Doster Center in Prattville at 424 S. Northington St., 
- First United Methodist Church, 100 East Fourth Street
- Trinity United Methodist Church in Prattville.  The church is located on Fairview Avenue.

Troy - Swindall's RV Park has plenty of RV sites available. Call 566-8553 or 566-5001.

SELMA 

The School of Discovery is now open as a shelter.

OTHER INFORMATION:

Montgomery Co. Humane Society will take evacuees' domestic animals starting at 6 a.m .

Monday Equine Evacuations - Laura Simmons – private land owner will allow horses to evacuate to her pasture in North Crenshaw County home: 334-537-4247 cell: 334-429-1633
