WSFA 12 News Montgomery, AL |Update on Charges For Guardians of 5 Year Old Geontae Glass

5 year old Geontae Glass was buried Monday in Centre, Alabama.
He's the child reported missing in an amber alert hoax in North Alabama last monday.
Authorities say it was a cover-up to hide the fact that Geontae had been murdered.
Initially police charged his mother, Shalinda Glass and her boyfriend, Kevin Towles with simple murder.
Monday the stakes got higher when the DA Jimmy Harper upgraded the charges to capital murder, and he's seeking the death penalty for the pair.
