WSFA 12 News Montgomery, AL |Montgomery Pastor Found Dead

A local pastor was found dead Sunday in his east Montgomery home. Gary Aldridge, minister at Thorington Road Baptist Church had been previously reported missing. WSFA 12 News had the only crew on the scene.
An officer from the Montgomery police department and some church goers found the body just before 10:00 a.m. "Brother Gary," as they call him, was pastor for about 15 years at the church and no one had spoken to him since Thursday afternoon.
Police aren't saying much at this point, but they are telling WSFA 12 News the body could not be immediately identified. They are treating the case as a death investigation.
Officers wouldn't comment on the nature of the death or if there were any signs of forced entry. However, there are unconfirmed reports that the body was bound when it was discovered.
