The Iron Bowl between Auburn and Alabama is six weeks away, but the rivalry begins this week. The Lifesouth Community Blood Center is holding its Iron Bowl challenge this week pitting Auburn University against the University of Alabama to see which school's students, faculty, alumni, and fans donate the most blood. The iron bowl challenge ends Friday. All Lifesouth blood donation centers are open from 10 to 6 each day. Lifesouth will present a trophy to the winning team at the Iron Bowl.
