Bicyclist Suffers Severe Injuries After Collision with Car

WSFA 12 News has learned the identity of a bicyclist injured after his bike collided with a car  Tuesday night.

52-year-old Thomas W. Roberts of Letohatchee was taken to the hospital with severe to life threatening injuries.

He is now listed in stable condition.

Authorities say Roberts was hit by a car about 15 miles south of Montgomery on U.S. Highway 31. 

Several agencies responded to the scene including the Pintlala Fire Department, State Troopers and the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department. 

Roberts was said to be unconscious and unresponsive and was taken by Air Evac to Baptist South Hospital.
