A new restaurant is now open in Auburn. Shakey's Pizza Parlor opened on Friday. The ribbon cutting was held at the new location on Glenn Avenue.
This is the first Shakey's to open east of California in over 40 years. The pizza place includes a patio, signs and even mugs from one of the first Shakey's ever opened.
"It appeals to everyone. Young and old, children. Great food, great value. You know it's pretty special American combination and I'm confident it will be very successful here in Auburn," says Shakey's Chairman of the Board Bill Tilley.
In the first week, the Auburn Shakey's generated more revenue than any Shakey's franchise ever opened.
