Friday marked the 18th anniversary of the signing of The Americans With Disabilities Act.
Montgomery Mayor Bobby Bright's Committee on Improved Access said the act has helped people with disabilities be included in every walk of life.
The committee is working hard to make sure that all city buildings and city service are handicap accessible.
President George H.W. Bush signed The Americans With Disabilities Act in the summer of 1990.
