Siegelman and Scrushy to Get Another Day in Court

Posted: Updated:

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Forrmer Alabama governor Don Siegelman and former Health South CEO Richard Scrushy will have another day in court.

Oral arguments will be heard in an Atlanta courtroom before the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday, December 9th.

The two men claim the judge didn't give proper instructions to the jury and there was no proof of a "quid-pro-quo" which led to their 2006 convictions.

The court could throw out the convictions, let them stand or order a new trial.

Siegelman is expected to appear, but Scrushy remains in a Texas prison.
