A pharmaceutical company is now headquartered in Montgomery. Turenne PharMedco is a medical supply distributor, pharmacy service provider and Medicare Part B billing agency. The company serves long term care facilities, assisted living facilities, home healthy agencies, and hospice organizations across the southeast. The new building is 100,000 square feet, which includes a warehouse and office space. "This building is a building that is very nice. It's about a third full, we anticipate 65% more business in the building, but after all our business is serving people not building buildings," says owner Roger Turenne.
PharMedco also owns three nursing homes in Alabama: Capitol Hill Healthcare in Montgomery, Westside Terrace Healthcare Center in Dothan, and McGuffey Healthcare Center in Gadsden.
