MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Montgomery police are taking credit for a huge drug bust this week.
Officers took more than $10 million worth of cocaine off the streets after stopping an 18-wheeler.
Investigators showed off the huge pile of evidence to the media, in all more than 100 kilos of powder cocaine were seized.
Officers stopped the hauler Tuesday on Interstate 85 North near the Mitylene exit.
The driver let officers search the truck, and that's when they found the mother load.
This weeks' bust blows the most recent catch out of the water for MPD. In January, officers seized more than $2 million worth of cocaine from another runner.
The suspect's identity was not immediately available.
