Jordan family prepares for first night in new home

The generosity continues to pour out to the Jordan family the recipients of a extreme home makeover.  The Jordan family are spending their first night in their new home Tuesday night.  Before that the community came through once again.  Auburn, Auburn Montgomery, Troy, Alabama State and the University of Alabama each handed over full paid scholarships to each of the three grandchildren.  The grandchildren and daughter also received a $2500 savings account from Max Federal Credit Union.  The mother of the family, Monica Jordan was also awarded a scholarship to Auburn Montgomery for her undergraduate degree and help with her dream to attend law school at Faulkner University.

Aronov homes, which organized the project, also paid off the Jordan's mortgage and homeowners insurance for an entire year.

WSFA 12 News learned the family dog, Wishbone, now has a new extreme doughouse, compliments of Alabama Steel Supply.
