It's going to be a humid and hot afternoon with partly sunny to mostly sunny skies. Breezy winds out of the south will warm our temperatures to the mid to upper 80s!
Tonight there is a small chance of a few isolated showers and thunderstorms well after dark for our most western counties. Some of these storms could produce hail and gusty winds.
All eyes are on Sunday for the possibility of severe weather. A few stronger thunderstorms will be possible Sunday morning with a break throughout the later morning into the early afternoon expected. Temperatures will climb to the mid to upper 80s with very humid conditions and gusty southerly winds. Thunderstorm chances will increase through the later afternoon into the evening and overnight hours. Winds in excess of 60 mph, large hail, and isolated tornados will be possible with the afternoon and evening thunderstorms.
Strong thunderstorms will remain possible to start the work week with cooler temperatures expected through the middle of the week.
