AUBURN, AL (WSFA) - You saw the camera live on WSFA.COM as fans rushed to famous Toomer's Corner with toilet paper in hand.
Now, you can see the entire celebration in time- lapse fashion. It takes a whopping 19 seconds to go from a normal intersection to a sea of Charmin in the City of Auburn's video.
Fans spent hours at the corner in celebration of Auburn's first National Championship since 1957. In fact, giddy Auburn fans rarely ever hold their celebrating to the two massive, century-old trees. Foliage within a block of the site is fair game.
The TP still hasn't been fully cleaned from the trees.
The city of Auburn is the only municipality in the United States with a line item in its budget to clean toilet paper out of trees.
