Montgomery, AL (WSFA) - Tax season is upon us, but do you know what you can write off this year? Each year the tax laws change, and you could be missing out on a deduction.

A Wet Start: Our Tuesday has gotten off to a soggy start, with a band of light to moderate rain sweeping across the state early today. Rainfall amounts have primarily been under one-half inch of rain. The rain exits the state into Georgia by this afternoon.
Colder... Temperatures will begin to fall this afternoon, with readings slowly dropping through the lower 50s into the upper 40s. Lows tonight will likely fall into the 29-34 degree range, with a stiff northwest wind making it feel even colder. Tomorrow and Thursday will both feature chilly conditions, with highs in the middle to upper 40s.
Snow? Our computer models have trended a bit farther south with the area of low pressure in the Gulf of Mexico. This would suggest lighter precipitation amounts and a general drier and colder trend in the forecast. However, it's quite possible that the models will shift back north, so we will continue the idea of light snow across our area early Friday, with a few raindrops possibly mixing in for southeast Alabama. Certainty in this forecast is very, very low, so be sure to check back for updates on a changeable forecast.
