Dallas Co. community's siren fails

SUMMERFIELD, AL (WSFA) - Residents in the community of Summerfield in Dallas County need to keep a close watch on the weather as their tornado siren is not currently working.

The Dallas County Emergency Management Agency says it won't be able to fix the siren until next week when parts come in.

And there's an update in Lowndes County where a siren failed during February's severe weather. Officials say the siren in Hayneville is functioning properly after repairs were completed on it.
