Four arrested in five recent arsons

Four people face arson charges from five fires in Montgomery. The Montgomery Fire Department's Division of Investigators arrested four people for arson related crimes in the city of Montgomery.  Each fire happened within the city in the past month.

Zachery Lee Wright is charged with attempted arson first degree for a structure fire on LaVerne Lane on February 21st.

Melivin Stiner is charged with attempted arson first degree for a structure fire that occurred on South Holt Street on March 20.

Ignacio Cruzis charged with two counts of criminal mischief first degree burning two vehicles on March 21.

Jasmine Jackson is charged with arson third degree for starting a structure fire on North Union Circle on March 13.

Several other cases are being investigated and arrests are expected.  The fire chief says, "If you commit a fire related crime in the city of Montgomery, there is a very good chance you will be caught and a very good chance you will be convicted for that offense."
