Storm damage reports

MONTGOMERY, AL., (WSFA) -- Here is a list of reports regarding storm damage as they come in to our newsroom.

Autauga County: Reports of trees down in the Pine Level area near County Rd. 1 South and Highway 31 North. Possible power line down near Pine Level Elementary School.

Covington County: Reports of several power lines down along Highway 55 South. Trees down in various locations throughout the county. 223 Alabama Power customers reportedly without power in Florala. Covington County EMA urges drivers to use extreme caution as they travel due to the reports of water covering numerous roadways.

Escambia County: Reports of trees down on County Road 4 and Travis Road. Fire Department working to clear area.

Geneva County: County representatives are closing all county roads in Geneva! Reports of flash flooding with knee deep water at Merritt and Hart streets. Flooding also reported along all county roads and several roads within the town of Samson. All drivers are urged to stay off of the roadways until further notice.

Henry County: Reports of flooding along Mary Jane Jackson Road.

Houston County: Reports of widespread flooding throughout Houston County. Several trees were reported down along with numerous power outages throughout the county. All drivers are urged to stay off of the roadways until further notice.

Montgomery: Tree down on Michighan Avenue near Lower Wetumpka road. No major damge or street blockage reported.

Morengo County: Demopolis Lock & Dam reports that the Tombigbee River is currently at 72.34ft and is expected to crest at 76.8ft at 1am on Monday. Flood stage is 68ft and moderate flood stage is 77ft.
